photography studio light help?
Hello everyone. I'm in the process of buying some pro Strobe Light.
Photogenic is the brand i'm looking into it now. My question is, does it really require 3 or 2 light to be able to bright up the picture.
What i'm planing on is using 2 photogenic strobe light which will produce up to total of 640 watt. so each is 320 watt..
Well that be a good start? any idea or other brand you guy could recommend me?
or should i get the highest watt it can produce. I have a budget of $1100 plan for it

320 watt seconds is a good amount of power. You typically will shoot at less than full power, but having that reserve helps keep your re-cycling time lower.
When considering the lights, also consider the cost of light stands, modifiers (these can be umbrellas or softboxes and can cost as much as a strobe) and wireless triggers.
If money were no object, four lights would be nice: main, fill, hair light and background light. Many excellent photos can be taken with just one light, though.
